Thanksgiving Day
In Canada, Thanksgiving begins on the second Monday of October. The United States follows on the fourth Thursday of November. But did you know that there are many other countries that celebrate bountiful harvests? Since harvests are harvested at different times of the year, harvest festivals are also celebrated on different dates in different countries. China, for example, has the Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar (next: September 29, 2023).
